Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist required
• 3-5 years of experience in special procedures, interventional radiology, or ambulatory surgical settings preferred
• ARRT certification required; state license where applicable; BCLS within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional and special procedures using fluoroscopy and radiography per physician orders
• Verifies informed consent, prepares patients, explains procedures and post-procedure instructions
• Maintains imaging quality and sterile technique
• Assists physicians during procedures and supports equipment operation
• Maintains and cleans imaging equipment; performs preventive maintenance
• Participates in regulatory surveys and documentation
• Educates staff on radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Supports inventory control and scheduling
• Reviews completed exams for technical accuracy and communicates with radiologist
