Job summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures under supervision, supporting interventional exams, and maintaining equipment and supplies. 40 hours per week, days, 8-hour shifts.

Staff employment type. The ideal candidate will have an accredited imaging program diploma, 2–5 years of X-ray experience, ARRT (R), BLS, and any state license as required.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
• Rotate through OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma.
• Assist practitioner with fluoroscopy, OR procedures and trauma.
• Perform related duties as required.

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Perform radiographic exams on all patients, as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs
• Rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include OR, Urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma.
• Performs related duties as required
• Required:
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
  • Experience: 2-5 years of X-ray experience
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • ARRT (R);
    • BLS
    • State license if required

  • Education: Associate degree
  • Experience: 1-3 years IR experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: VI or CI preferred
