Job summary

Tenet Memphis is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures with physician supervision in Memphis, TN. The role requires 2–5 years X-ray experience and ARRT(R) certification with state licensing if required.

The position is 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift and a staff employment type. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available based on eligibility.

Qualifications

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations. This includes assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Perform radiographic exams on all patients as necessary. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

• Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology
• Technologist is required to properly perform all duties related to general interventional, vascular interventional and all neuro and neuro-vascular (stroke) studies performed in the department.
• Provide technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
• Performs basic to complex diagnostic and interventional radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician
• Responsible for assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications
• Performs related duties as required
• Required:
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
  • Experience: 2-5 years of X-ray experience
  • Certifications:
    • BLS required
    • ARRT (R);
    • State license if required
• Preferred:
  • Education: Associates degree
  • Experience: 1-3 years IR experience.
  • Certifications: VI or CI preferred
