Responsibilities

• Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures.
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required.
• Scrub for all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient during all procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to assure adequate safeguards.
• Apply knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately.
• Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements
