Job summary

Tufts Medical Center in Boston is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform IR procedures using MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities with focus on patient safety and high-quality imaging.

This full-time role requires an associate degree in Radiology, ARRT certification, state license eligibility, 2 years of IR tech experience, and BLS. It offers a 4x10 schedule, rotating call shifts, sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
• ARRT certification required.
• State license eligible.
• Minimum 2 years Interventional Radiology Technologist experience.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform interventional radiology procedures as assigned.
• Verify patient and procedure before imaging.
• Provide clear, accurate instructions to patients.
• Verify imaging protocols and scanner parameters.
• Ensure patient and staff safety for equipment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.
• Perform quality control on equipment.
• Coordinate care with other staff/departments.
• Maintain supply stock and order as needed.
• Keep work areas clean per DPH and Joint Commission.
• May teach students and support new technologists.
