Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Radiology Technologist I for the CDH Cath Lab. This full-time, dayshift role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to work in an interventional suite delivering advanced imaging to patients.

You will contribute to cath, IR, neuroIR, and EP procedures, ensure patient safety, document imaging in the EMR, and support scheduling and equipment readiness. Required ARRT certification, IEMA licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences.
• ARRT Certification.
• IEMA Licensure.
• BLS through American Heart Association.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor of Science Degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care to maximize safety and reduce errors.
• Performs interventional procedure processes including setup, patient prep, procedures and room turnover.
• Pre-procedure assessment of patient data and instruction to patient/family.
• Scrub in and circulate on diagnostic and advanced interventional procedures with physicians.
• Performs imaging and post-processing; documents in EMR/hemodynamic system.
• Assists with scheduling coordination and maintains clean, stocked work areas.

Accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences

ARRT Certification

IEMA Licensure

BLS through American Heart Association

ACLS through American Heart Association within 6 months of hire

Bachelor of Science Degree
