Job summary

TriHealth in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to operate state-of-the-art radiographic equipment under radiologist and cardiologist supervision. You will contribute to patient safety and outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures labs.

Full-time role with 40 hours weekly, 4x10-hour shifts, days, and participation in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time. Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a $35,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT certification in radiologic technology.
• Unrestricted Ohio license (ODH) to practice.
• Understanding of aseptic technique and related safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiographic equipment under supervision of Radiologist or Cardiologist.
• Ensures accuracy of patient records and documentation.
• Participates in unit QA and QC activities.
• Maintains radiation safety in procedure rooms.
• Demonstrates proficiency in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

Work Hours:

• $17,500 for those with less than 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath, Interventional, Electrophysiology, or Specials. (One-year work commitment)
• $35,000 for those with more than 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath, Interventional, Electrophysiology, or Specials. (Two-year work commitment)

Job Requirements

• Associate's degree in allied health
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Unrestricted license from ODH
• Understanding of aseptic technique
• Experience in a related field

Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, position responsible for the operation of highly technical state of the art radiographic equipment. Position responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates proficiency, competency and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CBE's.
• Demonstrates proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
• Participates in unit QA and QC activities
• Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
• Demonstrates organizational responsibility.
