Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join the IR team in Hartford. The role involves scrubbing and assisting in a broad range of image-guided procedures and maintaining sterile technique across demanding cases.

Responsibilities include room prep, equipment setup, and accurate procedural documentation. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with call and premium pay, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate’s degree).
• ARRT certification.
• Connecticut Radiographer License.
• Preferred: Previous experience scrubbing or assisting in IR cases.
• Preferred: ARRt (VI) Vascular-Interventional certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with interventional and neurointerventional radiology procedures, including trauma embolization, PE/DVT interventions, venous reconstructions, Y90 and ablations, dialysis, biliary, pain interventions, acute stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm treatment, MMA embolization, and carotid stenting.
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies.
• Procedural and imaging documentation.

Saint Francis Hospital, a leader in advanced interventional and neurointerventional care, is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our high-performing IR team. You will play a vital role in supporting physicians in a broad range of image-guided procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with a variety of interventional and neurointerventional radiology procedures, including:
  • Trauma and emergent embolization
  • PE and DVT interventions
  • Venous reconstructions
  • Oncology procedures including Y90 and ablations
  • Dialysis interventions
  • Biliary interventions
  • Pain interventions
  • Acute stroke thrombectomy
  • Aneurysm treatment
  • MMA embolization
  • Carotid artery stenting
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
• Procedural and imaging documentation

Pay Range: $43.60 - $58.25 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
