Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to coordinate day-to-day imaging procedures and support staff in our invasive radiology area. You will train specials technologists, assist with contrast media handling, and troubleshoot equipment to keep workflow smooth.

The role requires ARRT in Radiology, CT/IR experience preferred, Connecticut licensure, and on-call availability with a 30-minute proximity to the facility. Rotation shifts may occur across campuses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technology program; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum one year radiologic technology experience; interventional radiology experience preferred.
• Current Connecticut license; ARRT in Radiology required; IR credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform procedures on patients of all ages, including adults; provide on-call coverage.
• Transport, stock, prepare, or administer contrast media as dictated by scope.
• Must live within 30 minutes of facility; on-call rotating shift may be required.

Description:

Position Purpose

The staff member is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activity of patient procedures to expedite workflow in assigned area. Responsible for training specials technologists in all invasive procedures, film processing and troubleshooting of equipment failure, including quality control.

What you will do

• Assists and performs technical procedures on patients of all ages, particularly adults. Provides on call coverage as required. Position may require assignments at either campus or access center.
• Full access to contrast media is given to the incumbent of this position because they are required by their job responsibilities to transport, stock, prepare, or administer contrast media as dictated by scope of practice regulations.
• Call is required. Based on needs of the department. Must live within 30 minutes of facility.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a recognized program in Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree preferred.
• Experience: One year Radiologic Technology experience required. Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Licensure: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology, Vascular Interventional Radiology preferred and Current Connecticut License.
• Skills: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Ability to adequately use, or learn to use, the department's computerized system and its associated devices.

Pay Range: $43.60 - $58.25 per hour

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
