Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures under fluoroscopy. The role involves caring for patients from infancy through geriatrics in a busy IR suite and adhering to system policies and safety standards.

Required qualifications include ARRT registration, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS/ACLS or active pursuit within probation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• ARRT registered radiologic technologist.
• ACLS or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
• Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic, IR, and neuroscience service lines.
• Care for a patient population from infancy to geriatrics under fluoroscopy.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow policies and regulations.
• Uphold MetroHealth System mission, vision, values, and service standards.
