Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center seeks a Radiologic Technologist to join the Interventional Radiology Department. The role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures under fluoroscopy, across vascular, cardiac, and neuroscience service lines, with a patient population from infancy to geriatric.

Required qualifications include ARRT RT certification, Ohio radiographer license, and ACLS/BLS. This is a day-shift, full-time position with on-call duties and supportive MetroHealth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT).
• ACLS certification or obtain within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification from the AHA or obtain within the probationary period.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-call hours on a rotating basis.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures across vascular, cardiology, cardiothoracic, interventional radiology and neuroscience service lines.
• Provide a safe and supportive fluoroscopy environment for patients.
• Care for a patient population ranging from infancy to geriatric.
• Follow MetroHealth System policies and ODH regulations during procedures.
• Uphold the mission, vision, values and customer service standards.
