Job summary

Ascension Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the Surgery department on a full-time days schedule. You will prepare and position patients, perform imaging procedures including angiography and interventional techniques, and assist radiologists and PAs while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from ARRT obtained within 6 months of hire date.
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI obtained prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and monitor protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, with radiologist/PA support.
