Job summary

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to operate imaging equipment during angiography and cardiac catheterization, and to scrub, circulate, and monitor in the IR Lab.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, active Florida CRT license, and ARRT credential with at least 2 years radiology experience including IR. ACLS/BLS are required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Current Florida CRT license required.
• ARRT credential required; RCIS considered with IR experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate interventional radiology imaging equipment and assist in angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Prepare and position patients and equipment following procedures.
• Safely perform radiographic imaging and verify image quality.
• Assist in administration of contrast media and patient monitoring.
• Obtain patient information, consent, and maintain communication with radiologists.
