Job summary

AdventHealth Parker is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist – Interventional to perform complex diagnostic and interventional procedures under a radiologist’s direction. You will prepare sterile fields, maintain infection control, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure imaging accuracy and patient care continuity.

The role requires proficiency with fluoroscopy, PACS, and radiology software, plus a strong focus on radiation safety, documentation, and patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT) and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex diagnostic and interventional procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
• Prepares and maintains a sterile field with proper infection control throughout procedures.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure imaging accuracy and patient care continuity.
• Maintains quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow.
• Performs direct patient care duties including monitoring patient condition and patient transport.
• Maintains documentation in EMR and PACS systems.
• Supports inventory and supply management; checks expirations and notifies shortages.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely and minimizes radiation exposure.
