Qualifications

• Graduation from a hospital-based or college-based radiology program.
• Washington State Certification for Radiologic Technologist and ARRT registration with current ARRT.
• Current certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology or eligibility within 1 year of hire; CPR validation.
• 24 CE credits (Category A) within a 2-year period.
• Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication; sterile technique and ability to work with technical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and the procedure room; ensure all equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
• Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities; provide real-time technical support to the physician.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to radiation safety; collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in high-pressure clinical situations.
