Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Imaging Technologist to perform advanced angio, vascular, neuro interventional and therapeutic procedures and to support radiologists.

The role requires completion of a Radiology Technology program and active radiography certification, with BLS instructor credentials desirable. You will work Day Shift in Oklahoma City, with PRN scheduling and a focus on accurate positioning, contrast administration, and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification and BLS Instructor certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
