The Interventional Radiology Technologist (IRT) at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) works under limited supervision performing imaging of vascular structures and assist with invasive procedures in the Interventional Radiology Department.

PRN position requiring availability for at least 12 hours per week, with rotating shift. Must be ARRT registered, SC license, and BLS; ACLS preferred. Radiologic technology education and commitment to radiation safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT certification and SC licensure required.
• Current BLS CPR certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Image selected vascular structures and assist in invasive procedures.
• Position patients and ensure radiation safety during procedures.
• Support physicians and team during interventional radiology cases.
• Provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after procedures.
