Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies. You will also handle post-processing and patient care tasks following established protocols for adolescents, adults, and the elderly.

Education includes an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training; BCLS is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and gastrointestinal studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping while ensuring protocols and age differentiation (adolescent, adult, geriatric).
