Job summary

Kingman Healthcare is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join the Imaging department under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor. The role requires AZDHS and ARRT licensure, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of IR experience, with a focus on high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program.
• AZDHS licensure current.
• ARRT licensure current.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of IR technologist experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic catheterization procedures and peripheral interventions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise IR staff and coordinate daily schedules.
• Assist staff and monitor work quality and efficiency.
• Perform QA/QC tasks and ensure departmental standards.
• Under radiologist guidance, administer ionizing radiation for diagnosis and optimize exposure factors.
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians in interventional procedures.
• Monitor patient and equipment, document exam times and report concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain ALARA principles and ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
