Job summary

Bayhealth Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist at the Kent Campus Hospital to perform interventional and general radiography with an emphasis on patient safety and quality imaging. You will prepare the room, educate patients, and support radiologists throughout procedures.

Eligible candidates hold an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology with BLS and Radiography credentials; 18 months' radiology experience is preferred.

• Credential(s): BLS and Radiography Technologist credentials.
• Preferred: 18 months radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares procedure room and patient for interventional and x‑ray studies; disinfects equipment and monitors patient flow.
• Educates patient about the procedure; obtains consent; verifies patient information and codes.
• Performs Interventional Radiology procedures; positions patients; monitors and reports reactions; assists radiologists.
