Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking an Interventional Radiologic Technologist who supports radiologists in minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasties, biopsies, and stentings. The role emphasizes proper patient positioning, sterile setup, and real-time imaging with fluoroscopy and CHL/PACS documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a radiology/Imaging program, and ARRT certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Radiology, Imaging or related educational program.
• ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist certification (Dx) and/or RCIS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs minimally invasive exams per protocols to minimize imaging and radiation exposure.
• Operates interventional radiology equipment and follows safety protocols.
• Assists radiologists during procedures with real-time imaging guidance.
• Completes exams and CHL/PACS documentation accurately and addresses charges/errors.
• Assists with patient transport to ensure smooth workflow during procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
