Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional radiology to perform all phases of interventional and neuro-interventional radiology exams in a pediatric/congenital and adult patient population. The role supports the CVIS workflow, adheres to standards of practice, and aligns with the organization’s mission to improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, draping and positioning the patient, preparing procedural/testing sites and administering contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Prepares equipment and supplies including sterile trays. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports issues; covers after-hours calls as needed.
• Assists with clerical duties and documentation in hospital information systems and PACS; manages inventory and cleaning of equipment.
• Assists physicians during diagnostic and vascular interventional procedures with sterile technique; reviews results and addresses image quality.
