Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time position in Boston. The candidate must have a valid RT(R) certification and preferably a minimum of one year of experience. Responsibilities include performing advanced radiologic procedures and ensuring patient safety. This role offers competitive pay of $43.00/hr to $62.00/hr and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• RT(R) through ARRT required.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: RT(VI) or (CV) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex procedures like SIRT and TAVR using advanced equipment.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural standards.

Skills

Knowledge of computer applications and digital technology

Knowledge of anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology

Knowledge of radiation physics and radiographic chemistry

Knowledge of radiographic positioning and equipment

Knowledge of universal precautions

Knowledge of catheters, guidewires and puncture needles

Knowledge of various contrast agents

Knowledge of proper radiation safety procedures

Knowledge of aseptic technique for patient prep and procedures

Computer skills and ability to interface with department systems

Ability to scrub in and assist as a second operator

Ability to effectively communicate

Education

Successful completion of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
