Job summary

Mercy Hospital Joplin is seeking an Interventional Radiology Tech / Special Procedures Technologist for per diem/PRN shifts. You will perform IR and special procedures under the supervision of the Special Procedures supervisor, using specialized radiographic equipment and ensuring radiation safety.

The ideal candidate has a radiologic technology degree, at least 1 year of IR or Cardiac Cath Lab experience, and ARRT Advanced registry with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab
• Certifications: Advanced ARRT registry; BLS

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the Special Procedures supervisor, performs Interventional Radiology and special procedures examinations requiring knowledge and skills in operating specialized radiographic equipment and radiation safety devices.
