Job summary

Soliant Health in Providence, RI is seeking an Imaging – Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a contract role. You will prepare and operate imaging equipment, assist radiologists, and monitor patients during IR procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate is ARRT certified with IR experience, proficient in fluoroscopy and PACS, and adheres to radiation safety and infection control protocols. Excellent teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered technologist with IR certification preferred.
• Experience as IR Tech in a hospital/healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of fluoroscopy, DSA, and sterile technique.
• Ability to assist physicians during vascular and non-vascular procedures.
• Familiarity with PACS and imaging software.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for IR procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, recognizing and reporting changes in condition; maintain cleanliness and readiness of the IR suite, including supply inventory management.
• Accurately document procedures, patient responses, and technical factors.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
