MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. This role requires an active RN license, BLS, and IR experience; 18 months preferred.

You will provide critical nursing care, prepare patients, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with physicians. Travel benefits include housing or allowance, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• 18 months of recent Interventional Radiology experience
• Client facility may have additional requirements

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology Nurses provide critical nursing care to the cardiac patient while assisting the Interventional Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, and Endovascular Neurosurgeon in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
