Job summary

Prisma Health in Maryville, TN seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform peripheral and neurological diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under a radiologist or physician, using independent judgment as needed.

The role includes assisting with invasive procedures using sterile technique, preparing and administering contrast, maintaining room readiness and safety, performing QC tasks, and documenting data accurately. Call rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year experience in interventional radiology, cath lab, or diagnostic radiology.
• ARRT registered.
• BLS certification.
• SCRQSA certification (South Carolina) if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform peripheral and neurological diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures under supervision.
• Assist radiologists with invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Prepare and administer contrast materials per protocol.
• Prepare rooms, discard sharps, and maintain supplies.
• Ensure radiation safety measures are used and conduct data entry.
• Stay informed of departmental changes and participate in call rotation.
