Job summary

Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform high‑quality diagnostic imaging for vascular and neuro IR procedures. You’ll operate fluoroscopy and ultrasound devices, assist during operations, and maintain sterile technique for patient care.

Requires ARRT certification and Florida radiography license, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently. The role offers flexible hours and generous benefits including a sign‑on and relocation

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification is required with state licensure
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic imaging for Vascular and Neuro Interventional Radiology, including neuro, body vascular, and cardiothoracic suites.
• Operates fluoroscopy systems and ultrasound machines; performs image post-processing and quality control.
• Acts as intraoperative first assist to radiologists and surgeons during IR and related procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and prepares rooms, patients, and devices; supports advanced IR procedures.
• Adheres to radiation safety and ALARA principles; provides patient-first care and promotes teamwork.
