Job summary

AccessHealth is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform advanced imaging procedures, including angiograms, thrombectomy, kyphoplasty, venous access, biopsies, and drainages. The role requires collaboration with radiologists and other team members in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in radiology, ARRT certification or eligibility for state licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field is required or equivalent.
• ARRT certification and eligibility for state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Healthcare/radiology/interventional radiology experience preferred; vascular intervention certification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiologic procedures, and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and with teams.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and perform dexterous procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and sterile supplies for procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Assist in device placement and maintain sterile fields.
• Circulate during procedures and manage imaging data for PACS.
• Monitor radiation safety, patient vital signs, and post-procedure care.
• Manage supplies, maintain records, and ensure safety protocols.
• Provide patient education and support inventory management.
