Job summary

Ascension is hiring in Racine, WI for an Imaging Radiologic Technologist specializing in vascular interventional radiography. The role supports All Saints Hospital in the Imaging department with rotating day shifts and on-call responsibilities.

You will perform vascular and non-vascular imaging, administer contrast media, and work closely with physicians. We require ARRT VI and General Radiography credentials, Wisconsin state licensure, BLS, and IR experience.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• ARRT VI credential plus General radiography; WI state licensure by hire date.
• CCI CVIS credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and optimize technical parameters for high-quality diagnostic images.
• Execute complex imaging and interventional procedures in collaboration with physicians.
• Administer contrast media and medications safely per regulations.
• Monitor patient well-being and procedures in real-time for safety.
• Uphold radiation safety and regulatory compliance throughout procedures.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Position patients and optimize technical parameters to capture the highest quality diagnostic images.
• Execute complex, specialized imaging and interventional procedures, including vascular and non-vascular cases, in close partnership with the physician team.
• Administer contrast media and essential medications safely and accurately, fully complying with all state and federal regulations.
• Monitor the patient's well-being and procedural protocols in real-time, ensuring a secure and safe care environment.
• Uphold a rigorous standard of radiation safety and regulatory compliance throughout all procedural activities.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-Intrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required. General Radiography required in addition to Vascular Interventional Radiology required. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. General Radiology and state licensure required by hire or job transfer date.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Must hold ARRT registry and WI State License in Radiography. One year IR experience is preferred. Advanced level credential in Vascular and Interventional (VI) through the ARRT required within 15 months of hire date
