Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a growing IR team. You will serve as the primary scrub for cases, handling setup, prep, scrub assistance and float in a facility with two IR rooms and a Hybrid OR.

Responsibilities include assisting with vascular and non-vascular procedures such as angiography, PTA, stenting, embolization, Y-90, biopsies and tumor ablation, with a call rotation and 4/10 shifts available.

Qualifications

• Maintains ARRT registration and MA licensure as Radiologic Technologist.
• Possesses current ARRT certification and MA Radiologic Technologist license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scrub for interventional radiology cases.
• Set up, prepare, scrub assist and float during procedures.
• Assist with peripheral vascular and visceral angiography, PTA, stenting, embolization, thrombolytic therapy and Y-90; biopsies and other non-vascular procedures.

We have two primary IR rooms and a Hybrid OR. Job duties include setup, prep, scrub assist and float. Cases include peripheral vascular and visceral angiography, PTA, stenting, embolization, thrombolytic Rx & Y-90. Non-vascular cases include biopsy, biliary, chest, drainage, gastric, nephro, tumor ablation & vetebroplasty. Days with call rotation, 4/10's available.Required qualifications:Maintains current A.R.R.T. registration and standards, holds a valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license.For positions requiring call takes call on a rotating basis as assigned by the supervisor after normal working hours. On-call response time is no longer than 1 hour however 45 minutes or less is the standard.Pay Range:$48.00 – $71.33The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
