Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a part-time Registered Nurse in the Interventional Radiology department at Navicent Health Medical Center. The role involves applying the nursing process, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the care team to optimize outcomes.

PRN duties and flexible shifts support patient care across units. Requirements include an approved RN program graduate, active RN license, and BLS; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification required; other certifications may be required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engages in nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans accordingly.
• Administers medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• Ensures patient safety and quality improvement.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Demonstrates ethical practice and professional development.
