Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN to provide comprehensive pre, intra, and post procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. The role supports diagnostic angiographic and other complex vascular/interventional therapies under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate has an NH RN license, BLS at hire and ACLS within six months, and a cardiovascular-focused background with critical care or medical/surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a state accredited school of Nursing.
• BLS certification required on hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in NH.
• Minimum 2 years critical care or 3 years medical/surgical with cardiovascular background.

Responsibilities

• Delivers pre and post procedural care to patients as per hospital policy.
• Delivers intra procedural care as circulator, scrub, or monitor.
• Gathers data through history and physical to plan interventions.
• Teaches patients and families about plan of care and discharge needs.
• Administers medications and communicates effectively with the care team.
• Follows safety protocols and complete required hospital/department tasks.
