Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN leads care delegation and ensures safety and quality within the health team, supporting the community in South Jersey.

Required: NJ RN license and 0-1 years of experience; an Associate's degree is required with Bachelor's preferred. On-site shifts and a varied schedule are typical for this role.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years' experience required, 2-4 preferred
• Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• NJ RN License required; refer to Nursing manual policy

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and develops a plan of care
• Administers, monitors and documents therapies
• Participates in clinical decision-making
• Educates patient and family about disease, care, wellness and safety
• Delegates and monitors care within the nursing team
• Participates in orientation and education of staff
• Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities
• Maintains competencies at professional level
