Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, is seeking an Interventional Radiology Nurse (RN) for per diem coverage. You will provide advanced nursing care across imaging modalities in Radiology, with emphasis on pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases and procedural sedation.

Required: BSN, Connecticut RN license, 2+ years ICU experience, ACLS; cath lab or IR experience preferred; must be collaborative and flexible in a tight team setting.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program and CT RN license.
• Strong Cardiac/Critical Care background with 2+ years ICU RN experience.
• Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred; ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care across imaging modalities within Radiology.
• Demonstrate competency in procedural sedation and airway recovery across all phases of invasive radiology procedures.
• Delegate and supervise supporting staff (PAA and PCA) and report to Unit Manager.
