Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Evidence of continuing education in critical care with a cardiac/pulmonary focus.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver formal educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, mental, and psychosocial status of patients.
• Plan and implement care in cardiac/pulmonary rehab program as part of a team.
• Educate patients, families, and community as appropriate.
• Document information clearly in charts.
• Interface with third-party payers to ascertain coverage and pre-admission requirements.
