The role is part-time with day shifts and call required. RN license, BLS and ACLS are mandatory on hire; BSN and CRN are preferred qualifications to enhance patient care and advancement.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS Certification within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
• One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality care.
• Assist Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain equipment and inventory.
• Assess procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in PI activities.
• Serve as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
