Job summary

Interventional Radiology RN position at Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas seeks a skilled nurse to support the IR service line during scheduled and emergent procedures. The role requires clinical strength, adaptability, and comfort with on-call responsibilities.

Shift is 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating 3-8 hour shifts and occasional after-hours calls. Department specifics include 2 IR suites, 1 CT procedure area, Hybrid Vascular OR Suite, and monitoring MRI Pacemaker patients; benefits include

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program.
• The applicant's major field of study should be Nursing.
• Candidates must be Registered Nurses (RN).
• BLS certification is required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 2 years of critical care experience preferred; IR experience preferred; Sedation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient and family needs; develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
• Maintain a safe environment; uphold patient confidentiality and advocate for patients.
• Facilitate learning for patients and families; support ongoing staff development.
• Collaborate with team to implement cohesive, patient-centered care plans.
• Engage in continued education and community service to enhance practice.
