Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associates Degree, minimum required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing, preferred.
• Current OH RN License.
• Critical care or radiology experience preferred.
• Competent in radiation safety (must know principles and practice sterile technique and infection prevention).

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for interventional radiology patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Communicate care plans to all levels of staff and involve families in care decisions.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for new personnel and float staff on the unit.
• Adhere to time and attendance policies and maintain accurate nursing documentation.
