Job summary

New York Imaging (NYI) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Radiology in Lake Success, NY. You will start and maintain IVs for radiology procedures, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support cancer patients.

This role requires NY RN license, BLS, and strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with an EMR is preferred; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation to NYI locations.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with an EMR (preferred).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Start and maintain IVs for radiology procedures (CT, PET/CT).
• Monitor and chart vital signs and weight/height.
• Collaborate with radiology team to support cancer care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment expectations.
• Record patient progress and MAR after treatment; provide discharge instructions.
