Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and radiology/high-acuity experience; EMR proficiency and patient education are essential attributes for success.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher required.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year radiology/ICU/high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and safety, including contrast media.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and manage allergic reactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks.
