Job summary

Frye Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) for Imaging Services in Hickory, NC. The role supports Interventional Radiology and CT Cardiac procedures, delivering pre-op, intraop, and post-op nursing care.

Applicants should hold a current RN license; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. BLS must be obtained within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and about one year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
