Endeavor Health, a major health system serving more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties, seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator for Interventional Radiology at Evanston Hospital. This full-time role offers career growth in a Magnet-designated environment with a focus on education and patient outcomes.

You will lead orientation, mentor staff, develop competencies, and partner with leadership to raise quality, safety, and the patient experience through evidence-based nursing

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN license.
• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 3–5 years in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, EP Lab, or procedural nursing.
• Experience in education/precepting/staff development preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certified.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
• Experience with Epic or similar EMR.
• Specialty certification or willingness to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation, onboarding, and ongoing education of nurses and clinical staff within the Interventional Radiology department.
• Mentor staff, provide bedside coaching, and support evidence-based nursing practice.
• Partner with department leadership to identify educational needs, develop competencies, and improve quality, safety, and patient experience outcomes.
• Design and deliver educational programs, skills training, and competency assessments while supporting specialty certification and professional development.
• Maintain clinical expertise by providing direct patient care as needed and promoting excellence in Interventional Radiology nursing practice.
