Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, plus radiology or high-acuity clinical experience. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and thorough patient education.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents and manage reactions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care and risks.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation per policies.
