Job summary

Henry Ford Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology on a contingent, day-shift basis. The role emphasizes leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care within an interventional setting.

The position requires a nursing degree, Michigan licensure, and active BLS; ACLS as available within six months, and 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in a related area such as IR, ED, CCU, OR or Cath Lab are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing required.
• 1–2 years recent related clinical nursing experience required.
• Experience in ED, Critical Care, OR, IR, Cath Lab, Endo or procedural area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
• Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
