Responsibilities

• Establishes positive rapport with patient and family.
• Provides emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
• Educates patient and family about condition, medications, and self-care.
• Documents all patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Maintains infection-control policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates teamwork with multidisciplinary health care professionals.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
