Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• One year of current CCU/ED RN experience or licensed military RN experience.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
