Independence Health System Inc. in Greensburg, PA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Interventional Radiology. The role involves four 10-hour shifts with occasional five 8-hour weeks, Monday through Friday, and on-call coverage.

Travel between Independence Health locations may be required. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a designated patient group; coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive patient outcomes, maintain safety, and adhere to infection

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
• One year experience in Critical Care.
• Strong leadership, organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Nursing refresher may be required if inactive for 3+ years.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year medical-surgical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care for a designated group of patients.
• Coordinates, directs and participates as an effective member of the interdisciplinary health care team.
• Maintain infection-control practices and ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
• Provide compassionate patient-centered care and support to patients and families.
