Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week assignment in the Interventional Radiology unit. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology experience, with a current RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

The nurse will work in a collaborative team caring for patients undergoing invasive procedures and may be on call. The incumbent will administer medications, maintain sterile technique, advocate for patients,

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred
• Evidence of continuing education appropriate for skill level and area of practice

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered, including anticoagulants, vasoactive agents, contrast, and emergency drugs.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedures as needed.
• Act as patient advocate and anticipate needs of the interventionalist.
• Recognize and respond rapidly to complications such as arrhythmias, bleeding, and reactions to contrast.
• Function as scrub technologist during interventional procedures with sterile technique.
• Monitor hemodynamic data and document procedural events; communicate findings to the team.
