Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time days position runs 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday with rotating call and holidays.

The RN will perform placements for IR lines, filters, and catheters and may assist with MRI monitoring of implant devices as needed across radiology departments.

Qualifications

• RN license required or pending, CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in hospital settings, cardiac and telemetry preferred.
• Experience in interventional radiology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and coordinate with ancillary services.
• Involve patients and families in developing the care plan.
• Prepare and coordinate rooms and cases; assist Interventional Radiologists.
• Assist with MRI monitoring of patients with implants or devices as needed.
• Participate in rotating call and holidays.

Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse to our Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology team at our Baptist South location in Jacksonville, FL. This Registered Nurse position is a Full Time days position working 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. This Registered Nurse will also participate in rotating call and holidays. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology will do placements for IR lines, filters, and catheters. This Registered Nurse for Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology may also assist with monitoring patients in MRI who have implants or devices as well as assist in other radiology departments as needed.

Registered Nurse, Job Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care

• Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case

• Assisting the Interventional Radiologists

• Call required

Experience Requirements;

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred

• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience

• Hospital Experience

Education & Credential Requirements;

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required

• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
